Virtual Care Center Clinician
<strong>The position is open to candidates located in CO and NM. </strong><br><br>This job can be on-site or from home. If you work from home, this position runs software that <strong>requires high-speed internet with 25 MB download and 15 MB upload speeds.</strong> The ability to consistently run this software is a requirement to be successful in this position. If you work from home, you will need a quiet space that is free of distractions, so that you can focus on your job responsibilities. Background noise should be limited, and you must be able to maintain a space that provides patient confidentiality. Some of your time will be spent interacting with team members and collaborating with other departments. You may work from home or the office. To do this you will:<br><br><ul><li>Triage medical questions and concerns from patients, including providing daytime Call for Abortion patients in accordance with PPRM's Medical Standards and Guidelines (MS&Gs).</li><li>Provide asynchronous care for patients seeking birth control, emergency contraception, and/or UTI treatment by the PPDirect app, which is available for patients 7 days a week.</li><li>Conduct patient visits via phone or video to diagnose and treat issues and conditions related to reproductive, sexual health, abortion, and gender-affirming care.</li><li>Perform and order diagnostic studies as indicated and provide appropriate treatment and follow-up as necessary.</li><li>Answer patient questions received via the Patient Portal.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers by working towards a positive outcome with any problems encountered.</li><li>Run reports, and document accurately, appropriately, and efficiently all phone interactions with patients in their medical chart in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Electronic Plan Management (EPM) systems.</li><li>Assist with scheduling patient appointments as needed.</li><li>Perform mandatory STI reporting to Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Wyoming State Departments of Health, when indicated.</li><li>Support Capacity-Building Efforts Internally: You will work to build capacity in others who see patients, serving as a leader with expertise and knowledge that can support others.
