<strong>Education Sales Consultant / School Advisor [Mandarin Required ]<br><br></strong><strong> Location:</strong> San Jose, CA<br><br><strong>Type</strong>: Full-Time | 40 hrs/week (Wednesday–Sunday)<br><br><strong>Compensation:</strong> $20–$28/hour + performance-based incentives, targeted $50K-$74K/year<br><br><strong>About the Role<br><br></strong>The School Advisor and Coordinator is a <strong>front desk and administrative role</strong> that serves as the first point of contact for families at Think Academy. This position focuses on <strong>student assessment, parent consultation, and enrollment support</strong>, helping families identify the most suitable learning path based on each student’s academic needs.<br><br>You will play a key role in <strong>conducting placement evaluations, recommending appropriate classes</strong>, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both new and existing families.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br><strong>Enrollment & Educational Consultation<br><br></strong><ul><li>Welcome and consult with prospective families in person, by phone, and online.</li><li>Understand students' academic needs and recommend appropriate courses and learning pathways.</li><li>Conduct program presentations and explain curriculum offerings, schedules, and tuition information.</li><li>Support placement tests, trial classes, and enrollment procedures.</li><li>Follow up with leads and prospective families to maximize enrollment conversion rates.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Parent Relationship Management<br><br></strong><ul><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and students.</li><li>Provide timely responses to inquiries and concerns.</li><li>Track student progress and communicate program updates to families.</li><li>Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the student lifecycle.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Sales & Business Development<br><br></strong><ul><li>Meet enrollment and sales targets established by management.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of leads, consultations, and enrollments in CRM systems.</li><li>Participate in marketing events, open houses, educational seminars, and community outreach activities.</li><li>Identify opportunities for student retention, referrals, and program expansion.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Campus & Administrative Support<br><br></strong><ul><li>Assist with front desk operations and daily campus activities.</li><li>Coordinate with teachers and operations teams to ensure smooth classroom scheduling and student services.</li><li>Support student check-in/check-out procedures and maintain accurate records.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree preferred; Education, Business, Marketing, or related fields are a plus.</li><li>Previous experience in sales, customer service, educational consulting, admissions, or student services preferred.</li><li>Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese is a required </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Passion for education and helping students succeed.</li><li>Ability to build rapport with parents and students from diverse backgrounds.</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.</li><li>Ability to work over weekends as needed.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Compensation & Benefits<br><br></strong><ul><li>Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission.</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance (for eligible employees).</li><li>Paid time off and company holidays.</li><li>Professional development and career growth opportunities.</li><li>Supportive and collaborative work environment.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience in K–12 education, tutoring, enrichment programs, or academic consulting.</li><li>Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree preferred; education, communication, or customer service background a plus. </li><li><strong> Bilingual in English and Mandarin required. </strong></li><li> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — friendly, patient, and solution-oriented. </li><li> Organized and detail-minded, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. </li><li> Passionate about education and providing great parent and student experiences.</li><li>Experienced in sale is preferred <br><br></li></ul><strong>Why Join Think Academy<br><br></strong><ul><li>Meaningful work that impacts students’ academic growth.</li><li> Supportive, collaborative, and growth-oriented team environment. </li><li> Career development opportunities in education operations and management.</li></ul>
